Gina K. Designs Clean and Colorful Christmas!
/Happy Friday! Today on my YouTube channel, I went live using the new Gina K. Designs Christmas in July 2026 kit, and focused on the Joyful Borders stamp and die set in the kit! Watch the livestream on replay by clicking ‘watch on YouTube’ below, and don’t forget to click the thumbs-up and subscribe to my channel!
Take a look at the cards that I created in this livestream:
I wanted to focus on stamping for both of these cards, showing you how easy it was to create cards that you could easily mass-produce for the holidays! I selected a really FUN color scheme of Innocent Pink, Dusty Rose, Red Velvet, Jelly Bean Green, Emerald Coast, and Christmas Pine.
On my first card, I stamped the ornaments in three different colors and die cut them out using the coordinating die, also part of the Christmas in July 2026 kit,. I ended up only using two colors so that I could fit my stamped sentiment in the center on the die cut postage panel. I wanted to make this a 5 x 7 card because I love the wide frame. I chose Emerald Cove for this background panel, stamping it with the Snowy Background stamp in Emerald Cove ink. Talk about clean and colorful, and so easy to make multiples of this one!
For my second card, I wanted to stamp the ornament borders onto colored cardstock and use white embossing powder to heat-emboss the stamped design. After doing this in three colors, I again decided not to crowd my card and just used two, with the beautiful Peace, Love, Joy sentiment, also from the Joyful Borders stamp.
I wanted my white background to have a bit of interest, so I again used the Snowy Background Stamp and four different colors to add a soft, colorful background. This card would be perfect in so many colorways, and with varied sentiments!
I really enjoyed creating both of these cards, and I hope today’s livestream gave you some great ideas for your kit! If you have not yet grabbed yours, be sure to do it soon while supplies last! This kit is ALWAYS popular, and it sells out every year, so be sure not to sit on the fence too long!
