The Hero Arts April 2026 Releases are Tote-Ally Awesome!
/Hello, friends! Today I went live to feature two new collections from Hero Arts for April 2026: Tote-Ally Awesome and Lotus Flower. In this video, I created with two different collections. Let’s take a look at what I created with each one!
Tote-Ally Awesome
The new Tote-Ally Awesome collection includes four different products, but you can purchase the Tote-Ally Awesome Bundle to receive all four with a discount! The first card I created on my own was simple and cute.
I wanted this Tote Bag Die Set tote to look like a basic canvas tote, purchased from your favorite neighborhood grocery store, and the sentiment, stamped from the Totes the Best Stamp & Cut, mimics the branding perfectly! I chose my favorite red, yellow, and teal color scheme, stamping the decorated tiles at the base of the teal panel for some interest before topping it with colorful flowers to make it more cheerful.
My second card took it up a notch with more stamping, and added texture! Before assembling the Tote Bag Die Set die cut, I stamped the decorative tiles onto the tote, making it look more high-end. I also stamped and clear-embossed the sentiment from the Totes the Best Stamp & Cut, onto the pocket.
To make this tote girly and cute, I added the charms to the strap, which I stamped from the Tiny Treasures Stamp & Cut, embossed with gold embossing powder, and colored using OLO Markers.
To make the tote a pocket for a gift card, I put foam adhesive around the bottom and outside edges, then popped it up on a panel embossed using the Petite Tuft - 3D Embossing Folder from Spellbinders.
This card would be so lovely for anyone on your gift list! Now let’s take a look at the second collection I used today.
Lotus Field
I chose to work with the Lotus Field Layering Stencil Set and Keep Growing Stamp Set this month, and I so love the possibilities with only these two products!
This amazing background is created with only four stencils from the Lotus Field Layering Stencil Set, and when you mix and match your colors, the possibilities are endless! Instead of covering up this beautiful background, I chose to cover the bottom with a die cut piece of vellum from Scrapbook.com to give my sentiment a home—and the edge detail on the vellum made this card look extra polished.
I wanted my sentiment to be bold, and the modern, clean Keep Growing Stamp Set includes the perfect sentiments! To give it some shine, I embossed the sentiment with gunmetal embossing powder onto the vellum, then adhered the vellum to the blended panel.
I finished off this card with a few Color Essentials gems. I’m excited to try this in several different color ways to create a suite of cards!
