A Boatload of LOVE with Concord & 9th
/Hello, friends! Yesterday, I went live to create a card using the Janauary release from Concord & 9th, and I could not love the card that I created more! Click ‘watch on YouTube’ below to watch the livestream on replay!
Take a look at the card that I created in my livestream:
This card was so fun to put together with a few of the latest C9 goodies and their color scheme of the month!
I added a bit of texture and interest to the background using the Radiant Heart Piercing Dies and nectar cardstock. After ink blending an A2 panel with Tidepool and Lakefront ink, and adding white waves using the Wavy Card Front Die, I die cut the panel using an oldie, but goodie, the large heart from the Pop Heart Dies.
For my focal point, I cut the ship using Oceans and Potions, a sweet bundle that is so versatile and allows you to create bottles stamped with greetings, or a ship in a bottle! I placed my ship on my heart's focal point using foam adhesive. To ground it, I placed my ‘love ya boatloads’ sentiment below.
To add more Plumberry and Sorbet, I cut different hearts using the three die sets on my desk. I placed them in a diagonal line through the heart! and finished off the card with Nectar enamel dots and Dew Drops.
