Celebrating 10 Years with Concord & 9th!

Hello, friends! Today I am taking part in Concord & 9th’s Celebrating 10 Years Instagram Hop! I’m taking it a few years back with the Harvest Wreath Bundle from C9's August 2021 release! Take a look at the THREE cards I created! (Honestly, I had a hard time stopping with just one!)

This beautiful bundle includes the Harvest Wreath stamp set, which comes with two Turnabouts: one to create a full wreath, and one to create a thinner wreath with an opening in the middle. There are also several friendly sentiments, suitable for all kinds of occasions, that can be placed inside or over the top of the wreaths. You also get the coordinating Harvest Wreath dies, which include three stitched shapes—a circle, strip, and square, perfect for your sentiments, plus autumn foliage dies to layer on your stamped images or use on their own!

Pair this bundle with a fresh fall color scheme like the one I used here: Briar Rose, Cayenne, Honeycomb, Eucalyptus, Pebble, and Champagne!

The best thing about this bundle is that you can create simple or more detailed cards, and both look beautiful! Let’s take a look at a simpler card first:

This is my simplest card. I used the Turnabout stamp to create an open wreath in four colors, then trimmed down my cardstock. I die cut the stitched circle from Eucalyptus cardstock, then embossed the ‘sending hugs’ sentiment in white. I layered the stamped front onto Eucalyptus cardstock, then adhered the sentiment to the center using foam adhesive. Finally, I cut four branches, two in Champagne and two in Cayenne, along with a Champagne heart to adorn the sentiment and add more texture. I finished off the card with coordinating enamel dots on the stamped berry branches.

For my second card, I used the second Turnabout stamp to create the full wreath with my beautiful color scheme. I used a circle die to cut it out, then adhered it to a card front embossed using the Wood Slat embossing folder in Cayenne. I love the texture this adds to the card background! For the sentiment, I embossed ‘so very grateful’ on the stitched strip with Copper embossing powder, then layered it on top of thin gold thread. To finish off this card, I again added coordinating enamel dots to the stamped berry branches.

This card stepped it up slightly, but let’s take a look at the most detailed card I created!

I truly love this card! I started off with a piece of Pebble cardstock cut to an A2 size. I cut the Honeycomb plaid paper from the Harvest Home Patterned Paper Pack on the diagonal, just following one of the white lines. I also cut a 1/4” strip of Champagne cardstock and added it to the edge of the patterned paper. I adhered the triangle to the corner of the Pebble cardstock, leaving the long side unadhered, then cut off the excess from the edges.

Before adding any die cuts, I stamped and embossed ‘hello friend’ with Copper embossing powder in the top right corner, then stamped and die cut the ‘get well soon’ strip to be placed underneath. I then adhered this panel to my white folded card base, cut from Neenah Solar White cardstock.

While placing the die cuts into the open edge of my patterned paper, I stamped the splatters using coordinating inks and filled the diagonal with foliage to add that gorgeous texture! To finish the card, I added coordinating enamel dots around the foliage. I’m so happy that I took the time to explore the multiple possibilities available with the Harvest Wreath Bundle!
