Hello there! The Pretty Pink Posh September release is now available, and today I shared a card tutorial LIVE, creating a beautiful bell shaker card using traditional holiday colors! The classic bell shape from the Christmas Bell Shaker was the perfect place to start on this card, which I wanted to look a little vintage! I cut the overall shape from a piece of Juniper cardstock, then ran this piece through my Platinum 6 machine using the beautiful Argyle Pierced Plate to add that gorgeous background texture!

Next, I cut the bell frame from the Treasured Cardstock Gold Assortment pack in glitter gold. Glitter was the perfect texture to use here to make the bell stand out! I backed the Juniper cardstock with a piece of acetate, then adhered the bell frame inside the bell cutout to finish off my front panel.

On my folded cardstock base, I added a piece of brushed gold cardstock from the Treasured Cardstock Gold Assortment pack, then backed my front panel with 2mm black foam adhesive, creating a channel for the shaker before filling it in with Candy Cane shaker beads and Holly Berries Clay Confetti. I used my Misti to add my folded card base to the front panel, and voila! A shaker was born. Be sure to watch how I did this in the video!

To embellish my card front, I added the ‘Merry’ word and shadow, cut from Sea Glass cardstock and vellum using the Large Merry Shadow Dies. I cut the greenery from the Christmas Bell Shaker set in Sea Glass and Rainforest, then the bow out of Brickyard cardstock, and the Ruby Assortment Treasured cardstock to add a little sparkle to the bow.

I finished the card off with a sentiment banner stamped using the Christmas Banner Greetings Stamp Set and cut using the Banner Greetings 1 Die to add that lovely sub-sentiment at the base of the card.
