Gina K. Designs Autumn Delight Card Kit: Serene Branches Video Tutorial
/Hello, friends! A new card kit called Autumn Delight and an amazing August release have just arrived in the Gina K. Designs shop, and it’s filled with gorgeous, autumn cardmaking products! Let’s take a closer look at the card that I created:
In my video, you’ll see me die cut branches using the Serene Branches die from the Autumn Delight card kit using gorgeous cardstock from Gina’s collection—fall colors like Butterscotch, Sweet Mango, Coral Reef, and Faded Brick. Then, I placed each branch into the coordinating Serene Branches 3D embossing folder, a free gift from the Autumn Delight card kit, to add gorgeous texture and dimension!
To add even more dimension, I used coordinating inks, Honey Mustard, Sweet Mango, Tomato Soup, and Faded Brick, to blend my leaves, bringing them to life! Once they were blended, I used OLO Marker O 7.7 to color the branch instead of using the stencil and a blending brush.
To create my background, I used the new Masked Circle Stencil found in the Autumn Delight card kit to ink blend Sky Blue ink in the center of my card panel. I placed the circle mask over the top of what I had blended, then put the panel in my Misti, stamping the background using the Snowy Background Stamp. I then took off the circle mask, turned the card panel 180 degrees, and stamped again to add beautiful texture on the background, similar to paint splatters!
To finish, I stamped the sentiment from the Thankful and Blessed stamp set (found in the Autumn Delight card kit) to the center of the circle, then adhered my die cut and blended branches around the circle, cutting the excess from the edges of the card panel. A few tiny gold pearls from the Mini Pearl Mix finished off the card beautifully.
