Take a look at the bone-chilling card I created using the day thirteen die set:
I kept this card simple because it’s all about the color here! I paired the coffin die with other die cuts from the Craftoween kit—bats from day ten, and the ghost from day eight. Adding a lot of ink blending around the edges of the coffin made it look as though there was light shining on the center, and I followed suit with the purple background—blending dark at the edges and fading as I got to the center of the card front.
I set my coffin on a piece of Rainforest ColorWheel cardstock, which was cut with the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals Etched Dies. This really made the coffin stand out! Although this card is one of my most simple of the series, I love the simplicity, as it shows that the right colors can really make a card!
Thank you so much for watching my day thirteen video in the 13 Days of Craftoween series. I hope you’ve found inspiration for your own Craftoween OR Halloween cards from my videos, even if you were not able to get the kit.
