Stretch Your Christmas in July 2026 Kit with Gina K. Designs
/Hello, friends! Today I’m up on the Gina K. Designs YouTube channel to share not one, but TWO new cards with you! I’m using the Christmas in July 2026 kit to create two non-holiday-themed cards. In this video, you’ll see me die cut, emboss, ink blend, and stamp to create two different cards with a vibrant color scheme to give you a fresh perspective on your kit, while adding a few of my Gina K. favorites from my stash. Take a look at the cards that I created in this video:
These cards were created using the same techniques, but along with my Christmas in July 2026 kit, I grabbed my favorite Master Layout dies! Let’s take a look at each card.
For my first card, I used the postage die cut from Master Layouts 14. I love this large panel, and the Bursting Blossoms 3D embossing folder from the Christmas in July 2026 kit embossed it perfectly, keeping the stitched detail and the holes.
I used the Postage Plus stamp, also from the Christmas in July 2026 kit on the background, adding the postage details, keeping out the Christmas or December-themed words.
From there, I colored in the florals using the Bursting Blossoms layering stencil, then used the coordinating dies for the florals to mask off the flowers and add a subtle blue background.
My second card was a bit quicker to create, as I grabbed the postage triptych from Master Layouts 15 to create my floral panel. I used the same techniques as before to die cut, emboss and color the panel, then layered it on the First Class Frame cover from the Christmas in July 2026 kit, which I stamped using a perfect subtle background from the Peaceful Petals stamp.
Both cards used the ‘sending love’ sentiment from the Joyful Borders stamp and die set, found in the Christmas in July 2026 kit.
Don’t miss out on this packed Christmas in July 2026 card kit! As I have shown today, it’s perfect for holiday and non-holiday cards!
