We All Have Baggage: A New Collection with a Special Message!
/Hello! Welcome to my blog today! This week, I went live on the SCT YouTube channel to share and create with the new We All Have Baggage collection from Sheri Ballantyne and Spellbinders! This beautiful collection of 5 different products has a powerful mental health message with sentiments to show support for someone carrying an extra load. Click ‘watch on YouTube’ on the thumbnail below to catch the livestream on replay, see the six new, gorgeous hues, and see how I created with them in my latest card projects! While you’re there, don’t forget to hit the thumbs up button, leave a comment, and subscribe to the SCT YouTube channel!
In this video, you saw me share and create these sweet cards:
I used four of the different products from We All Have Baggage to create these cards in a colorful, yet kind of retro scheme! Let’s take a look at each one:
The Rolling Craft Tote Etched Dies has to be my favorite product in this collection! For a crafty friend, this card would be perfect. I used a sentiment strip die and Pear Blossom Press Snap 'N Slide Disks to actually make the cart roll across the card. To add interest to the background, I created a fun strip of colors, then used the Hero Arts Keep Calm Sentiments Clear Stamp Set to add the ‘crafting is cheaper than therapy’ sentiment.
This card is all about showing support for a cancer warrior, and the ribbon die cut from the Awareness Ribbon and Sentiments Stamp & Die Set can be customized in any color for anything that your friend or loved one is going through. I created a frame from white cardstock and the Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies, then backed it all with light pink cardstock embossed using the Damask 3D Embossing Folder.
The final card I created was SO fun! This iconic Retro Suitcase and Sentiments Stamp & Die Set just needed to be in a bright and happy color, and I kept the same color scheme as on the rolling craft tote card to add the stamped stickers to the suitcase. To use what was in the set, I grabbed the solid suitcase rectangle shape to add colorful rectangles to the background, which I added texture to using a tiny heart 3D embossing folder. The sentiment, also from the Retro Suitcase and Sentiments Stamp & Die Set, seemed like the perfect one to finish off the card.
What a fabulous collection this is. Be sure to watch my livestream on replay to learn more about the intentions behind it, and be sure to grab your We All Have Baggage collection products now at the links below to show your support for a friend or loved one who may be carrying an extra load.
Thanks for stopping by, and happy creating!
