I started with the wonderful 3-part Halloween Cake Pops Stencil to create my pastel background using Clementine, Sprout, Tidepool, Lilac, and Black ink from Concord & 9th—setting the color scheme for my card and giving it a very playful feel!

I wanted to top the background with die cut cake pops cut from the Halloween Cake Pops Dies, but there needed to be a separation between the two layers to allow the cake pops to stand out. The Shadow Box Dies includes the perfect stitched rectangle that I cut from Lilac cardstock. It created the perfect separation!
