Create A Spider Web Shaker with Pretty Pink Posh!

Hello, friends! Today I’m taking part in an Instagram hop with Pretty Pink Posh, and I created a brand new card for it. Let’s take a look!

I loved this Spider Web cover plate die, but I instantly thought about creating an inlay card, inspired by the colors in the Spellbound Shaker Beads. After cutting out the spider web in white, I covered the small, central portion of the spider web with acetate to create a window, then covered the area around it with 2mm thick Adhesive Foam Roll. After I flipped the spider web over, this left adhesive inside the areas of the spider web, making it easy to cut the web from multiple colors, Starfruit, Aqua Sky, and glitter black from the Onyx Treasured cardstock. It was quick to inlay the pieces with adhesive already in place!

Once my inlay pieces were in place, I flipped the spider web over and filled the acetate window with Spellbound Shaker Beads, then backed the whole panel with an A2 piece of Orchid ColorWheel Cardstock to complete the color scheme. On the front, I added a Spider Friends spider colored with Olo Markers, and added a few shaker pieces to the front of the spider web from the Boo to You Clay Confetti.

To finish off the card, I added the β€˜spooky wishes’ sentiment from the Halloween Greetings Stamp Set, which I topped with the spider’s hat!

I hope you enjoyed this card! I had so much fun creating an inlay shaker!
