Beary Sweet Collection: Create These SWEET Cards!
/Happy Sunday! A new, SWEET collection has just been released from Hero Arts called Beary Sweet, designed by my friend Carly Tee, and I was so lucky to have been able to create with it! Stop what you’re doing and check out the six cards I created in a new Reel on my YouTube channel:

Now let’s take a look at each of the six cards I created:
There are squishy gummy bears galore in this collection, and I had to use the cute ones from the Bear Hugs Die Set to create a trio of colorful bears on this card. The ‘Hi Sweet Friend’ sentiment below is one of two found in the Candy Kebab Die Set, and I cut it from a brushed metallic Antique White Treasured Cardstock.
Once the bears were on the card front and popped up with foam adhesive, I added Glossy Accents to them to make them look squishy and shiny!
Swedish Fish are my favorite gummy treat, so I had to create them using the Candy Kebab Die Set. To make them glossy, I cut them from red Rainbow Glossy cardstock, and layered them on a red ColorWheel cardstock layer.
I put the fish in the Penny Candy Jar, cut from ColorWheel cardstock, topped with a brushed metallic silver Treasured Cardstock top, and I also added a scoop in the same cardstock in the foreground. I used the leftover frame from my first card to frame the scene, and stamped ‘O-fish-ally glad we’re friends,' from the Let’s Stick Together stamp set. (This is also available as a Stamp & Cut!)
I had to create a shaker using the sweet Tiny Bears, which look like candy inside the gummy bear cutout from the Bear Hugs Die Set. I also cut three bears from the same die set using the Pastel Glossy Cardstock paper pad to adorn the base of the card.
I topped the shaker window with the ‘have a sweet day’ sentiment from the Candy Kebab Die Set, cut from brushed metallic Antique White Treasured Cardstock.
This card may have been my favorite to create! I made another Penny Candy Jar just as before, but this time, I filled it with sparkly gummy worms! I ink blended a rainbow of pink, yellow, and blue onto a piece of cardstock, just wide enough for the worms, then used this blended cardstock to stamp and die cut all 6 worms.
I stamped ‘sending worm hugs’ from the Let’s Stick Together stamp set, then added the jar above, placing all of my worms inside. I added a touch of sparkle with a glue pen and fine glitter.
This card shows how wonderful the Big Hugs stamp is! I started by stamping ‘big hugs’ onto a piece of white cardstock, using two different teals. I added the curved ‘sending you’ and ‘to a good human’ to either side in black, then added the sweet gummy bear from the Let’s Stick Together stamp set, which I stamped the outline in black, then the solid layer in grapefruit ink.
I simply cut the stamped layer using the Perfect Touch Rectangles die, then layered it with teal and grapefruit cardstock using the Precision Layering A2 - A and Precision Layering A2 - B dies. A few sequins finished it off!
For the final card, I had to create a shaped bear holding a heart from the Bear Hugs Die Set.! This card was so easy to create, and although it is smaller than A2-size, it fits a sentiment inside beautifully!
