Create A Beautiful Spring Scene with Yana's Tulips
/I’m so excited to share my latest card, created with the Yana’s Tulips collection from Spellbinders! This beautiful collection includes Press + Foil plates and stencils that create the most stunning scenes. The one I chose to use first was my favorite. This arch-shaped card started with the Windmills & Tulips Press + Foil Plate and the BetterPress letterpress system. This letterpress image creates the most detailed and fine-lined image to then color with the coordinating stencils.
The set of six stencils guides you to color and bring the scene to the next level of amazing, and I chose to use Simon Hurley Stellar Inks and the NEW Simon Hurley small blending brushes—which were the perfect size for coloring the individual elements on each stencil. I finished off the scene by adding Stellar Crystal Clear medium to the colored tulips to help them to stand out from the rest of the scene.
