TRY THIS Ink Blending Technique with the Gina K. Designs NEW Card Kit!
/The new Spring Things Card Kit has just been released by Gina K. Designs, and I was inspired by floral pottery to try out a new-to-me ink blending technique! Click ‘watch on YouTube’ below to see how I ink blended a beautiful floral design on colored cardstock, and be sure to leave a comment and hit the thumbs up button while you’re there!
Take a look at the card that I created in tonight’s video:
Starting with Powder Blue cardstock, I embossed it with the new Blooming Branches 3D embossing folder from the Spring Things Card Kit. To allow myself to have colored florals again, I had to make the 3D image white, and I used the Blooming Branches coordinating stencils along with Gina’s white pigment ink.
Once the pigment ink was dry, it was time to add color, and I did that using beautiful hues of Gina K. ink, opting for a very light pink around the center of the dogwood flowers. My sentiment was first die cut, then stamped using the Modern Greetings stamp + die set from the Spring Things Card Kit, and I love the mix of script and sans-serif font on this one!
I hope you enjoyed watching this card creation come together as much as I enjoyed creating it!
