Elegant Stitched Ornament Card with Scrapbook.com
/Hello, friends! I hope you’re having a happy weekend! Yesterday I went live with new dies from Scrapbook.com to create a gorgeous, detailed card. In this livestream, I created this beautiful stitched card:
The new Swiss Dot Rectangles Decorative Die Set inspired me to create a stitched rectangular panel that framed my scene. Don’t miss the tips I gave in my livestream about stitching on paper!
I created the three ornaments using the Christmas Ornaments Decorative Die Set, cutting them from Concord & 9th cardstock in Ballet Slipper, Brickyard, Sea Glass, Lakefront, and Champagne metallic cardstock. The colors look beautiful together and give these detailed ornaments a vintage feel. I also used a line of embroidery floss to ‘hang’ the decorations from the stitched frame.
The ‘Merry Christmas’ banner was stamped and die cut from the Triple-step Evergreen Bundle, and layered with three banners to give it a lot of dimension. The beautiful font fit the ornaments perfectly.
I had to add the beautiful bows to the top of the ornaments to finish them off. A few gold mix Color Essentials Gems added the perfect touch to the central panel. To add a bit of color, I used the pink snowy pattern from the Holiday Patterned Cardstock Pad to frame the gorgeous central panel.
I could not love this card more—it’s definitely going to someone special this holiday season! Thanks so much for watching, and don’t miss out on these fabulous products at the links below!
