I’m kicking things off on day one with a vintage-inspired ornament design featuring three stitched panels and three coordinating accessories—including a sweet little “noel” label that creates an effortless sentiment.
To build the ornament, I reached for ColorWheel cardstock for the main panels and paired it with champagne foiled cardstock for the metallic accents. The stitching on this first die cut came together quickly, and using a metallic floss really gave the ornament maximum shine and dimension.
For the card background, I pulled out one of my favorites: the July 2025 BetterPress Plate of the Month—Festive Press. I foiled the design using Satin Pewter foil, which added the perfect soft, elegant shimmer behind the ornament.
No ornament is complete without a bit of greenery, so I grabbed the Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations die set for the perfect sprigs to tuck around the top. These small details really elevate the ornament, giving it that classic, festive finish. (Tip: keep an eye out—find this fantastic little die set in Spellbinders Black Friday sale!)
I’m so happy with how this first card turned out. Between the foiled background, the metallic stitched ornament, and those beautiful greenery accents, it all came together just the way I imagined.
