In this video, you watched as I crafted two punny cards using the Spice of Life bundle, found in the new kit. Take a look at the cards I shared:

I was just enamored with the Spice of Life bundle from the Relax & Have Fun kit and the sweet little icons on the stamp set. When paired with the Harvest Texture Foil-Mates in earthy tones, they created two sweet & simple cards!

Did you ever think a garlic bulb could be so cute? This card is all colored with Sweet Mango—in foil, ink, and cardstock forms! I used a double-stamping method for the garlic, stamping it first with Whisper ink, coloring with OLO markers, then stamping again with Obsidian ink.

OLO Markers used: O 4.0, O 4.1, V 1.1, O 7.1

The ‘you spice up my life’ sentiment added a little pun to the card, giving a bit of contrast to an otherwise elegant-looking, monochromatic card.

What goes better with garlic than basil? This card tapped into the Fresh Asparagus hues, perfect for that Harvest Texture Foil-Mate pattern. I used the same stamping technique for the basil, coloring in between with OLO Markers again. These little images are just perfect for new colorists like me!

OLO Markers used: YG2.5, YG 8.5

How cute is that ‘you’re sup-herb'!’ sentiment? This would make a perfect ‘thank you’ card for a special host or hostess!
