Hello, friends! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday week! I created a suite of cards using the Little Smiles collection from Spellbinders (now on sale!) that I realized that I never shared, and I hope they bring a BIG smile to your face! Take a look:

These sweet cards feature the cutest critters and babies to craft handmade baby greetings! Let’s look at each card that I created.

My first card features the sweet hot air balloon from the Swinging Among the Stars Etched Dies. This set includes both an elephant and a hippo to ride into the night sky, which I created using the large clouds from the Bundle of Joy Etched Dies and the Falling Stars BetterPress Plate using Aura Glimmer Hot Foil. I added the ‘hello, baby’ sentiment using the Little Smiles Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set and Cosmic Sky BetterPress ink.

This one is bright and beautiful and features the Bundle of Joy Etched Dies. I again created a cloudy sky scene using those large cloud dies, then topped them with a friendly stork and sweet baby created from soft pastels. The ‘your little miracle is here’ sentiment from the Little Smiles Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set was perfect for finishing off the card!

Creating another beautiful card design is easy by combining die sets! I used the star from the Swinging Among the Stars Etched Dies and the dangling baby from the Bundle of Joy Etched Dies, set against a starry sky created with the Wishing and Falling Stars 3D Embossing Folder and BetterPress Bundle. These two work together to create a raised and foiled starry sky that would be perfect for any type of card! I finished off the card with a perfect sentiment from the Little Smiles Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set and pink Color Essentials Gems.

This simple card may just be my favorite! I started by creating a mask using the cloud from the Bundle of Joy Etched Dies, and lightly blended the white cardstock background with a light blue ink. I then die cut the sweet balloons with faces and animal shapes from the Go Kart Go Etched Dies and grouped in the center, popping them up for dimension. A few die cut stars, the sentiment from the Little Smiles Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set and a few Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems finished off this simple card.

The Little Smiles collection is not just for new babies; it’s perfect for birthdays, too! This card shows off a background created with the Falling Stars BetterPress Plate using Rainbow Glimmer Hot Foil. I topped this background with a fun scene created with the Go Kart Go Etched Dies, and a simple sentiment from the Little Smiles Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set. My favorite arch die set, the Essential Arches Etched Dies, shown here, is also included in the sale!
