Lovely Layered Wildflower Collection Cards
/Hello there! Today I went live on my YouTube channel to share the beautiful new Wildflowers collection from Spellbinders & Lisa Horton Crafts. Watch the livestream by clicking ‘watch on YouTube’ below so that you can open the video in a new tab to leave a comment, hit the thumbs up, and subscribe to my channel!
Take a look at the cards that I shared in my video & finished up after the livestream:
All three of these cards used the same design, but I changed up the colors and techniques across the three cards. This is a technique I love to use when I want to make a set of cards. Take a look at each one:
I had to start out by using the Betterpress plate in this collection with my Glimmer foiling platform. I used Bellini cardstock and Rose Gold foil to create the gorgeous, shiny background for the red gladiolus. The beautiful sentiment die and stamp sets included in this collection added the perfect element to top the foiled background. To add more texture to each card front, I used the Latticework embossing folder, which was perfect for this garden theme.
I wanted to send sunshine with this card! Instead of foiling, I pulled out the BetterPress platform for this one, adding the script background with Sweet Corn ink from Gina K. Designs. This sentiment, ‘warm wishes,’ felt perfect for this heartwarming card.
This final card combined blush with pinks to create a sweet design! I again used the BetterPress platform for the background and Innocent Pink ink from Gina K. Designs. This time, I added my gladiolus on the left side, adding the ‘very best wishes’ sentiment to the right, and topping with color essentials gems.
There are so many wonderful staple products included in this collection that can be used over and over again in different ways. Thanks so much for joining me today, and for watching on replay! Happy creating!
