Hello, friends! Happy Friday! Today I went live on my YouTube channel, creating with the new Yana’s Daisies collection from Yana Smakula and Spellbinders! In this video, I created two cards with the same products, the Daisy Shower BetterPress and Stencil Bundle, in two different colorways, blue and orchid, and I love them both!

Both have a vignette background, meaning that I reserved the lighter color for the center and made it darker as I reached the edges of the card.

For the blue card, I started with BetterPress cotton card panels and BetterPress ink in French Blue and Coastal. This created the perfect blue background for the daisies, which I stenciled with the coordinating Daisy Shower stencil using inks from Gina K. Designs. As easy as this background was to create, it sure has that ‘wow’ factor!

The orchid card is a stunner! To create it, I used Medium and Dark Orchid from Gina K. Designs, then colored in the rest with the coordinating stencil and more Gina K. inks!

I love these panels because there is very little to do after you create them besides add a sentiment! I used the Crafty Hugs Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set from the Yana’s Daisies collection and my Glimmer Hot Foil System to foil the sentiments with Glimmer Hot Foil in Aura.

After I trimmed the panels down slightly, I backed them onto Spellbinders ColorWheel cardstock. Just three groupings of rhinestones on each card finished them off beautifully!
