Concord & 9th April Release: Paper Posey

Hello, and happy Tuesday! I was so excited to guest for Concord & 9th this month for their gorgeous April release and 2025 Color Collection release! Over the next few days, I’ll share all of my cards, one bundle at a time. Today, I wanted to share my Paper Posey cards, one of my favorite bundles in this month’s release!

My first card goes all out on the posies with a fresh & pretty color scheme.

The beauty of this product is that the embossing folder coordinates with the larger posey dies to add a gorgeous texture to the petals, making them look like crepe paper flowers. I created large layered flowers using blues Powder and Harbor cardstock. Then I topped them with fun open daisy flowers in Nectar, then white glitter flower centers, a tiny circle from Sorbet and then an enamel dot in Nectar.

For the small flowers, I started with textured poses in Grapefruit, then topped with Sorbet posies and star-shaped centers in Champagne metallic cardstock. I added Nectar enamel dots to finish off those flowers.

I love the new Pistachio color in the 2025 Color Collection, and cut the small leaves from this pretty light green, then added the larger, textured leaves in Artichoke for contrast.

I placed all of my flowers on Almond cardstock, found in the Neutrals Assorted Cardstock Pack. I love this warm white cardstock. For my sentiment, I stamped ‘hello friend’ in Harbot ink, then cut out the tab using the Paper Posey Dies, tucking in behind the large blue flower to finish off this card.

For my second card, I wanted to create a simpler design, but by brightening those flowers a bit, even less flowers created such a striking card! For this one, I started with the large poseys and the new Pimento hue. I love this new tomato-red color! I layered up two Pimento poseys, then topped with two layers of the white daisy-shaped flower, then added the open daisy in Grapefruit before topping with a Nectar enamel dot. For the greenery on the large flower, I added a fun sprig in Lemongrass, and long leaves in Grasshopper.

For the small flowers, I used two layers of Grapefruit textured posies, then the small open daisy in Pimento, topping them with a Nectar enamel dot. To change things up a bit, I added the small leaves in Midnight, and I love the pop of contrast that they add.

My sentiment, ‘hugs’ came from the Hugs & Friend dies, and I cut the word from Midnight and then the shadow layer from vellum for added softness. The ‘You’re Doing Great,’ was stamped in Midnight using the So Many Sayings bundle. I love that you can stamp this entire set in a neutral color and cut all of the sentiments out at once! so that you always have sentiments on hand.

I placed all of the elements on a white background with added texture from the Wood Slat embossing folder. I love this simple design that adds a little bit of tone-on-tone texture to the background.

I hope you enjoyed checking out these two cards—one a bit more detailed, and one simpler, but both stunning thanks to the Paper Posey bundle! Happy creating!
